In this work, I regard the body as a form of sculpture, with the earth serving as the foundation of the piece. I boiled white granulated sugar to a state where it could solidify into a solid form. Then, while the caramel was still hot, I shaped it into an umbrella form and re-supported it with the ribs of my old umbrella, inserting them back into this umbrella-shaped sculpture. As a result, I was able to walk in the rain with this umbrella. As I walked on the earth-like pedestal, the slowly melting sculpture dripped onto my body. The body, sculpture, and base merged into one entity.
