Mosquitoes, Dusts, and Thieves
was a three-person exhibition at 47 Canal where I exhibited a sculpture titled A Stand in 2017, alongside a video work named Summer Wind Before the Rain.

Summer Wind Before Rain
was filmed at Storm King Art Center in 2017 during my residency. It aims to situate the body and creation within the wilderness. I collected clay and plants from a nearby river as materials for a sculpture. I recorded the process of creating a bust for a gardener at the Art Center with corn silk for the gardener's mustache. The video captures the preparation for the final sculpture against the natural backdrop, a reminder of how we control and are controlled by nature.
